References:

From Schreiners Iris catalog, 1934: TINT O'TAN (Ayres '33). A striking flower in its combinations of bronzy tan and straw yellow colorings. Crests unusually long of bright brown, standards well held and falls semi-drooping or semi-flaring. Flowers are well placed on 38-40" stems with a long period of flowering from mid to late season. This Iris caused much comment in Dr. Ayres' garden, many people inquired about it. Stock very limited. $20.00.
