'Tomorrow May Rain' (Richard Ernst, R. 1994). Seedling# JF169-1A. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards bright yellow; style arms yellow; falls yellow rim and shoulders, center flushed white; beards yellow orange; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling# F169-1A, 'Competitive Edge' sibling X seedling# F104-1: (('Irene Nelson' x 'Sun Fire') x 'Friday Surprise'). Cooley 1995.

From 1995 Cooley's catalog: 'Tomorrow May Rain' (R. Ernst, 1995) M. 34" F $35.00. Bold yellow standards top off this sunshine bright iris. Falls are flushed white with a yellow rim and golden yellow shoulders. Yellow orange beards. Nine buds on exquisite three-way branches. Gorgeous ruffling, moderate sweet fragrance. Sdlg. JF169-1A.
