From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: TOPAZ (Waters 1954) M. 38 in. (Orangeman x Casa Morena). A distinctive new iris of coffee brown. The standards are flushed with henna which gives a slightly bitone effect, The whole flower of rich brown has a full undertone of pale gold which makes the flower shine with great brilliance. It is very large with broad, clean petals. Choice. H. M. 1954. 15.00. |
