| From AIS Bulletin #217 April 1975 Introducing TRICOLOR SPECIAL (Marsh '75). 71-150. TB, 34", M. Stepping Out X Wild Ginger. This big, wide-hafted plicata has ruffled plum purple standards flecked white. The falls are white with a deep plum purple border. They are wide, flared, and have deep ruffling all around. The flowers have excellent substance. 7 or 8 flowers are borne on a well-branched stalk. Blue-green foliage, a strong grower, and is fertile both ways. EC '73. $25.00. Marsh Gardens. |
