'Triple Take' (Schreiner, R. 2017). Seedling# TT1112-1. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early bloom. Standards white; falls white ground edged with dark plum; beards orange. Seedling# PP2040-1, parentage unknown, X 'No Other Love'. Schreiner 2017.

| From Schreiner’s catalog, 2017: TRIPLE TAKE (Schreiner 2017) E. 36" $50.00. Unsurprisingly Triple Take does demand several looks. Strongly defined falls beneath the subtle airiness of the standards make it a study in contrasts. See our photo at left. The brilliant white ground of the falls is encircled in dark plum. Noble standards are characterized by a pure whiteness, and a most delicate lavender delineation. The center of the falls is lighter with a pansy-purple netting. Cadmium orange beards provide a highlight, injecting a new tone, along with caramel hafts. Triple Take's strong stems open 8 buds per stalk. Seedling TT! I 12-1. |
