From Schreiner’s catalog, 2017: TRIPLE TAKE (Schreiner 2017) E. 36" $50.00. Unsurprisingly Triple Take does demand several looks. Strongly defined falls beneath the subtle airiness of the standards make it a study in contrasts. See our photo at left. The brilliant white ground of the falls is encircled in dark plum. Noble standards are characterized by a pure whiteness, and a most delicate lavender delineation. The center of the falls is lighter with a pansy-purple netting. Cadmium orange beards provide a highlight, injecting a new tone, along with caramel hafts. Triple Take's strong stems open 8 buds per stalk. Seedling TT! I 12-1. |
