TUPELO HONEY (Gaulter, 1975) M. 35" $25.00. "Honey-colored" wouldn't do justice as a description of this deep, clear orange flower, the standards tipped white. The falls are slightly deeper in color and the beard tangerine. The whole flower is a happy blending of Brownie Scout x Spanish Affair. The tightly rolled conical standards and slight flare of the falls are a replica of a whirling Spanish dancer at a fiesta. Seedling #70-37. [Cooley's Iris, 1975] |
