'Twilight Sky' (Orville Fay, R. 1948) TB. Seedling# 47-6. Midseason bloom. Color Class R4M. 'Pink Cameo' X Hall Seedling# 44-8 pink.
TWILIGHT SKY. No. 47-6. Pink Cameo X Flora Dora $20.00. During the past four years I have bloomed many hundreds of Pink Iris, and this is the best. A pink of exceptional form and substance with pink buds and red beard. Standards are domed and falls flare at just the right angle. The flower is medium in size, tailored, and the haft is clean. The widely spaced flowers are carried on a strong, graceful 35-inch stem. Plant is hardy, vigorous, and a very fast increaser. [Fay Gardens Iris-1948. Wilmette, Illinois]
