References:

From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1957: VANITY FAIR (Hall 1951) Each 3.00. One of the few flamingo pinks to bloom very late in the season. The color is a superb medium pink which rivals the best in depth and richness, and the form is smooth, well tailored, more wide than long due to the flaring falls. A fiery red beard adds tremendous intensity. 36 inches. HM 1952.
