1975, Roach 'Violet Butterfly' (Lura Roach, R. 1974) Seedling# 71-38A. TB, 30" (76 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white ground, heavily dotted to solid border of violet (HCC36); falls white ground, stitched border of violet, violet veining radiating from beard to near plicata stitching; violet beard, mustard in throat. Seedling# 68-94: ('Thelma Leaton' x 'Blue Petticoats') X 'Charmed Circle'. Riverbank Gardens 1975.
