'Violet Coronation' (Bernard Hamner by Shepard Iris, R. 1992) Seedling# 87-21. TB, 30" (76 cm), Early bloom. Standards violet purple (RHS 82C); falls dark violet purple (82A), silver spray pattern radiating from beard; beards silver, yellow in throat; heavily ruffled. 'Bubbling Over' X 'Blue Gloss'. Hamner Iris, Shepard Iris 1992.
