An introduction advertisement reads: A simply huge, giant iris. Stalks like tree-trunks in the fall, up to 44". Reblooms October. $25.00. Avonbank Gardens.
This is the only reblooming progenitor which has a score of one hundred percent. All seventeen registered cultivars from it have been registered as rebloomers. It has produced two Award of Merit winners in ROSALIE FIGGE and SUKY. Other outstanding irises from it are CANTINA, CONSTANT COMP ANION, and MARIPOSA SKIES.
