'Vishnu' (Grace Sturtevant, 1924) 30" Midseason bloom. Color Class-S4M. Standards and falls light pinkish-cinnamon, falls veined in brown, stronger on top half; golden yellow beard;spicy fragrance. 'Speciosa' X I. junonia.

From Maple Valley Iris Gardens catalog, 1937: VISHNU (Sturt. 1931)) M. L. 38 in. An iris cf rare charm and personality. Its delicate tones of pinkish lavender are softly flushed with cinnamon. Vigorous and hardy. 35c.
