'Voltage' (Virginia Messick, R. 1992). Seedling# M87-69. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled orange self; beards red orange; slight fragrance. 'Black Hills Gold' X 'Edna's Wish'. Messick 1993. Honorable Mention 1995; Award of Merit 1997.

From AIS Bulletin #289 April 1993 Introducing VOLTAGE '93-TB 37", Edna's Wish X Black Hills Gold (M87-69). Shocking bright orange with jolts of flame orange beards; otherwise, a smooth orange self. Nicely ruffled on very broad falls. Good comments from '92 AIS Convention. Slight fragrance. $30.00. Messick Garden.
