From Melrose Gardens catalog, 1964: WASCO PRIDE (Terrell '64) 38" Midseason to late bloom. (Nomohr x Convention Queen) x Cream Crest). A magnificent flower that looks as though it were cut from a heavily woven, visibly textured textile. An opaque warm white with a light yellow beard. Both the standards and falls have exceptional width with standards domed and closed and falls arched downward, the whole being boldly fluted. Sturdy well branched stems. $25.00. |
