A most distinctive white, this is very large with extremely broad petals. The stands are nicely domed and the falls flare widely. The buds are a light chartreuse and this color is retained on the underside of the falls when the flower is open, thus adding to its beauty. Very strong, well branched stalks. H. M. 1952. 8.00.
From M. Oliver Flower Farm catalog, 1958: WEDDING BOUQUET {Buttrick '52) M. 35" Pure white Iris with great individuality and charm; domed standards and broad, ruffled semi-flaring falls. Unopened buds and underside of falls are chartreuse. A.M. '56. $5.00. net.

From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1962: WEDDING BOUQUET (Buttrick 1952) Each 2.00. As name implies, a white of distinction.
