From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1938: WHITE GODDESS (Nesmith 1936) No. 111. Very large well domed standards of pure white, the falls are extremely arched and flaring and are also pure white. Yellow beard and white style branches. The large flowers are glistening white and are borne on tall sturdy stalks. H. M., A. I. S. 1936. 40 in. $17.50.
From Carl Salbach catalog 1941: WHITE GODDESS (Nesmith). A very large pure white of fine proportion. Standards are large and well domed, falls broad and semi-flaring. Tall, well-branched stems, a good grower and free bloomer. Mid- season. 36". $3.00.
