A smooth red blend with grape infusion, which highlights this well formed iris. The standards are conical, held tight, smooth grape or plum color. The falls are 3" wide, semiflaring, round, ruffled, light blue-violet color, with border same color as standards, fading into a dark brown haft that adds color to the flower. Substance is extra heavy, branching ample. Fertile both ways, and is giving some nice seedlings crossed with MARTEL and WILD PEACOCK. Seedling #WIO-I0-H.C. '64 and '65. $25.00. Z. Benson. |
