'Windsor' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1946) TB, 40" (102 cm), Midseason thru late bloom. Bright, deep blue self. 'Brunhilde' X 'Great Lakes'. Honorable Mention 1950.

From Easy Breeze Gardens catalog, 1954: WINDSOR (Tompkins '50) 40". HM '50. A large and beautifully formed flower of deep blue with faint violet tinge. Broad, flaring and ruffled, it was one of the best things seen last season. $10.00
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: WINDSOR (Tomp. 1950) M. L. 40 in. (Brunhilde x Great Lakes). A large and beautifully formed flower of deep blue with faint violet tinge. The petals are broad and the standards are closely domed while the falls are fluted and very flaring. Extra heavy substance and sleek finish. H. M. 1950. 5.00.
