1986, Keppel

'Winemaster' (Keith Keppel, R. 1985). Seedling# 76-70A. TB, 35" (89 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards haematite red (M&P 7-H-3/4), blended ambrosia (6-G-9) at base; falls horse-chestnut (8-J-5) with brazil brown (8-L-8) undertone on hafts; mustard to oxblood beard; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Spartan' X seedling# 71-82A: (('Montage' sibling x 'Happy Ending') x Ghio seedling# 67-20W). Keppel 1986. Honorable Mention 1988; Favorite Guest Iris 1988.
