2007, Spoon

'Winterberry' (Donald Spoon, R. 2007). Seedling# 2002-99RE. TB, 35" (89 cm). Early to midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards cranberry red (RHS 67B) darker (67A) veins; style arms (67B); falls deep, velvety cranberry red (71A), lighter cranberry red (67B) edges and midline, white sunburst marks around beards; beards white tipped orange (40B) lighter at end, medium in middle, darker in throat; ruffled, slight sweet fragrance. 'Wise Wish' X 'Cherry Glen'. Winterberry 2010. Honorable Mention 2012. Award of Merit 2015
