From Iris City Gardens catalog 1940: YELLOW WONDER-A clear, brilliant flower of superb shape and carriage; perfect branching and tall, straight stems. The color is lighter than Burnished Gold but still a fine, deep tone. Out of the many worthy yellow irises that were so much admired Dr. Kirkland selected these two for introduction as being different and distinct. $20.00
