Standards aster violet (RHS 87C); style arms same, darker on crest edge, slight white side; falls dark violet (RHS 87A), white ground around and below beard, heavily veined dark violet, aster violet rim; beards based white, tips burnt orange in throat and middle, ends aster violet; heavily ruffled.
