1995, Kasperek

'Zebra Blush' (Brad Kasperek, R. 1993). Seedling# 89-6A. TB, height 34" (86 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards pale yellow (RHS 4C); falls light rose purple (75C); beards lavender rose; foliage dark green with white streaks and marbling, base red purple; slight fragrance. Ensminger sdlg. X 'Capricious'. Zebra 1995. Honorable Mention 1997.

From AIS Bulletin #297 April 1995 Introducing ZEBRA BLUSH (Kasperek '95) TB 34" EM. Variegated foliage!!! The dark green, red-purple based fans are streaked and marbled with white. Striped stalks play host to numerous flowers with light yellow standards and light rose purple flaring falls. Lavender beards. Vigorous. Few all green fans. Ensminger sdlg. X Capricious (89-6A). $40.00. Zebra Gardens.
