From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1953: HELEN KENNEDY (Kennedy). Frederick Kennedy of San Dimas, California, has been hybridizing for many years and has chosen this very lovely light blue iris, of a most interesting cross, Snow Flurry x Luna, for his first introduction. Mr. Kennedy has named this iris for a very lovely lady: Mrs. Kennedy. The flower is large, of excellent substance, and both falls and standards are extra wide and beautifully ruffled. The full beard is snow white, giving us a remarkably attractive iris which grows very tall, is well branched and grows well and increases rapidly. $15.00
