Standards maroon; falls maroon with redder center, slight yellow and white whiskering around beard; maroon beard tipped gold. 'Lillipinkput' X seedling #7225-12 yellow BB: 'Sunray' x 'Top Flight') x 'Fleeta') x I. aphylla Geneva S2). Riverdale Iris 1979.

From AIS Bulletin #233 Spring 1979 Introducing COUNTRY DEEJAY (Carol Lankow). lB. Saucy DEEJAY-IB, 19". Sdlg. 7544-1. Lillipinkput X yellow BB: (pink TB x I. aphylla Geneva S2). The accent is on form and vigor. The wide, horizontally flaring flowers are rich maroon with red spot in falls. Bushy maroon the center of falls a brighter red. The conspicuous bushy beard is maroon tipped gold. The whole plant is in good proportion and has a lovely sweet scent. $12.50. Riverdale Iris Carol Lankow. Gardens.
