'Hatsukurenai' ( Seiro Yoshie by Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1993) JI (3 F.), 26" (65 cm), Very early to early bloom. Standards white, edged red violet; style arms white, barely brushed maroon; Falls large white center and veins radiating outward into red violet edge, signal yellow. Parentage unknown. Yoshie prior to 1980.
