'Returning Tide' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1976) Sdlg. J71/7(1). JI, 40" (102 cm), Midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards violet-blue (RHS 87A); Falls slightly lighter blue than 94D, lightly stippled; yellow signal nearly covered by styles, which are color of F. 66/3(8): ( 'World's Delight' x Hirao white higo seedling) X 66/9(2): ( 'Sakura-No-Miya' x self). McEwen 1976. Honorable Mention 1977, Payne Award 1982.
