'Princess Leia' (Heather Pryor, R. 1997). Seedling 60/90-16. La, 45" (114 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards and falls Cyclamen purple (rhs 74b), white rim and reverse, raised lime yellow steeple signal with crimson veining; style arms white, pale pink blush when fresh; ruffled. 'Gladiator's Gift' x 'Desert Jewel'. Iris Haven 1997/98.

Awards: HC 1997 (NSW regional trial garden) NSW Region of the ISA (Iris Society of Australia). Featured on the official Star Wars website in mid 1996 after contact from Mr. George Lucas. WOW!
