'Yasha' ( Hiroshi Shimizu by Carol Warner, R. 2010) SPEC-X (Pseudata); 48", Midseason bloom. Red-violet Standards and Falls, very deep red-violet eyelash around smaller yellow signal; violet stylearms; color changes dramatically as flower opens. 'Gubijin' X unknown (mixed JI pollen). Draycott 2010.   Translation: "The female devil".

From Draycott Gardens catalog, 2016: YASHA (Hiroshi Shimizu, 2010) 48" M. Can't you just see the eyes of the devil in this flower? The color changes dramatically as the flower opens, giving a lovely contrast on the clump of many different shades. Also note the thin dark edge surrounding the falls. The name means “The female devil”. $10.00
