'Shady Sands' ( Jean Witt, R. 1971). Sdlg. 70-01-JU. Seedling #70-01-JU. MTB, 22 1/2" (57 cm), M. S. Midseason bloom. Standards tan, paler and more lightly dotted than F; F. falls; falls under surface yellow, upper surface white with yellow edge, 2 mm. wide dotted all over in medium violet; outer 1/2" of beard lavender to white, inner portion yellow. ( 'Blue Mouse' x 'I. reginae') X unknown. Witt 1972.
