Standards bluish off-white; falls. near black (darker than 79A to 83A), white markings extending halfway down; whitish beard. 'Astrachanica Kalmikij' X seedling #7SEG-1: ('Daystar' x 'I. cengialtii' seedling #K-23A). Joe Pye Weed's Garden 1986.
