2010, Black

'Fido' ( Paul Black, R. 2010) Seedling O334A. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards butter yellow, wide rosewood plicata band and center dotting; style arms medium apricot; Falls light yellow, narrow feathery dark brown plicata bands, cream white area around beards lined and veined dark brown to plum; beards white base tipped red orange; slight musky fragrance. L323A: ( 'Pink Frosting' x J299B, 'Lost Art' sibling) X 'Chart'. Mid-America 2010.

Hybridizer's comment: See below: * * Fido is just as cute as a honey tan Cocker Spaniel pup. Apricot styles glow from within butter standards that have extra wide rosewood plicata bands. Light yellow falls have narrow, feathery tan-brown plicata bands with paler area around orange beards lined dark brown to plum. Fido is well behaved and not the least bit obnoxious. Excellent parent.
