GINGERBREAD MAN (Jones '69)-This popular blended-brown outdid itself this spring, though it has never been anything but a constant performer. It glowed in its brown tones, and I couldn't help but wonder if this glow had something to do with our cool spring. Or maybe this iris, now much used in hybridizing, was serving notice to its offspring that they would have to strut some to catch up to the original.
