From Joe Pye Weed catalog, 2015: CARNIVALITO - SIBERIAN. Schafer/Sacks (Seedling No. S08-16-10), 28", M. Truly a carnival going on in this flower - and not just a little clowning around! Purple and yellow and veins everywhere. Falls have a yellow ground (sometimes darker or lighter) covered with red-purple veining (sometimes darker or lighter) forming a rim of concentrated lines at the edge. A bit of violet washes from underneath this edge into the yellow ground. In contrast, standards are violet, veined darker, and style arms are pearly with blue-green ribs and apricot to pink tips. Lightly fragrant. One branch with three buds per stalk, well distributed in an upright clump. For several versions of this flower and others, see JPWflowers.com. (sib to Tree of Songs x sib to Pretty Polly) X (Tall Dark and Handsome x (sib to Waterfall Waltz x (sib to Turn A Phrase x In Full Sail))). $35.00
