'Balkana-Hanselmayer Form'. Form' (Rudolph Hanselmayer);Subgenus Iris, Bicolor flowers; Standards a mousey yellow, falls a mousey purple. Ben Hager notes this is the form used extensively in many of his crosses. Another form the 'Darby form' was used by way of the plant, 'Sharkskin' X I. balkana. This form Ben never saw, but these plants produced amoena color patterns when crossed with even non-amoena TB's. Iris balkana Janka. Synonym: Iris reichenbachii Heuffel.
