‘Duschanbe'.(A. Kruminsch, collected in 1978 near Duschanbe, Tadjikistan). Tadjikistan, Subgenus unregistered Scorpiris ). Subgenus Scorpiris, Height? Very vigorous tall growing form with deep yellow flowers. Standards inconspicuous drroping paddle like ciron yellow to white, Falls citron yellow blending to cadmium yellow in signal blotch area. Central flap like ridge or crest cadmium yellow with a couple of brown shadowy markings on each side of the crest. The Style arms are paler yellow to white blending to a citron yellow edge, midrib and stylecrests. Offered by Janis Ruksans, 2002 catalog. an Iris bucharica .
