2002, Schafer, Sacks
'Forward And Back' ( Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks, R. 2002). SPEC (sibirica), 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. "A classic small-flowered Iris sibirica. The standards are periwinkle, the falls are mid blue-violet and the signals are large, white, and veined in dark blue. The flower has light butterfly-like substance, but the plant is strong. It has six to nine blooms per stalk including five in the terminal and up to three branches. The stalks hold the flowers well above the delicate foliage. Seed from SIGNA exchange."-Joe Pye Weed's Garden 2002. Iris sibirica L.
