YYYY, Geo. W. Park Seed?
'Park Farm Hybrid'. Hybrid' A.k.a. 'Park Farm Form', Jennifer Hewitt notes "bought by Dr. Marion Wood from an undetermined Essex Nursery. She gave me a piece years ago. I think that it originated in the U.S.A. Reddish violet with yellow signal, appears to be a pure setosa, not a hybrid." Listed by both the BIS and SIGNA seedlists, there is speculation that it was a seed strain offered by Geo. W. Park Seed Co. Tony Huber's description of seedlings grown from Signa seed is the same and strain appears to be consistent. [Iris setosa Pallas ex Link].
