From AIS Bulletin #153, April 1959. Introducing WAKEROBIN (Color Guard X Wadi Zem Zem) 48". The most highly rated of all white Spurias at the Houston Spuria Iris Test Garden under number 55-1A. (See Bulletin #150, pages 84 and 92). Big, frilled, very wide-petaled flowers with a light yellow signal and good branching giving many flowers. Foliage and stems very erect and vigorous. Early bloom season. Net $17.50. Melrose Gardens. |
