'Adornment' ( Carl S. Milliken, R. 1947). TB. Early bloom. Color Class-B7L. No record of parentage. Reported Rebloom in: CA USDA Zone 9.

From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1949: A well formed self in the medium violet tones (manganese violet - Ridgway), with a blue beard. It has a charm which immediately makes an appeal to those coming upon it in their strolls in the garden. To the hybridizer it furnishes a thrill because of the possibilities which run through his mind. A strong grower. 21½ feet. $3.50 ; 3 for $9.00
