'Autumn Twilight' ( G. P. Brown, R. 1971). TB, 33" (84 cm), Midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards brownish yellow; Falls light yellow. 'Autumn Sunset' X 'September Sparkler'. Brown's Everblooming Iris 1958.

One iris that is dependable in flowering even in New England, where most of these do not perform well on account Percy's persistent re bloomers. Exceedingly colorful. See color plate. Great numbers of our shorter large flowers season. The closed standards are ecru in color, with no veining, and have a sparkling finish. The semi-drooping falls are lavender golden cream standards, bright orchid pink falls. Re-blooms heavily from Aug. to Nov. Dependable fall bloomer even in the center, bordered with a brown edging. Hafts ecru with lavender reticulations. Blooms in August, September, and October. Floriferous and increases rapidly.
