'Butterscotch Kiss' (Gordon Plough, R. 1955). Seedling# 51-129-7. TB, 36" (91 cm), Late midseason bloom. Color Class-Y1, Yellow self in effect (barium, 503/1 Wilson), orchid infusion, gold-dust glitter over all; yellow intensified in heart and on edges. Plough seedling# 49-67: ('Cascade Splendor' x 'Honeyflow') x 'Twenty Grand'. Iris Test Gardens, Eden Road 1957.

Awaiting original catalog description From Iris Test Garden catalog, 1958: BUTTERSCOTCH KISS. (Plough 1957). M.L. 36 inches. No. 51-129-7. (Cascade Splendor x Honeyflow) x (Twenty Grand). Sib to Caribou Trail. A much sought after creation. The general effect is butterscotch-yellow with a gold dust glitter over all. In some lights there appears to be an orchid infusion. The closest color by Wilson is Barium 503/1. There is an intensification of yellow in the heart of the flower and on the petal edges. The large flowers are heavily substanced with the edges of the petals very heavily laced. Stock still very scarce. H. C. 1955. H. M. 1957. $35.00.
From Iris Test Garden catalog, 1958: Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: BUTTERSCOTCH KISS. KISS (Plough 1957). M.L. 36 inches. No. '57) ML-36". Full sister seedling 51-129-7. (Cascade Splendor x Honeyflow) x (Twenty Grand). Sib to Caribou Trail. A much sought after Trail shown in color. This creation. The general effect is butterscotch-yellow more of a golden butterscotch yellow, with a gold dust glitter over all. In some all over. Yellow intensified lights there appears to be an orchid infusion. The closest color by Wilson is Barium 503/1. There is an intensification of yellow in the heart of the flower and on & along the petal edges. The large Heavily substanced; flowers are heavily substanced with the edges of the petals very heavily laced. Stock still very scarce. H. C. 1955. H. M. 1957. $35.00. Fertile both ways. JC'58; AM'59. (Cascade Splendor x Honeyflow) X Twenty Grand). Regularly $7.50; on $10 order $4.95; on $25 order $3.95.
