From Quality Gardens catalog 1930: CORONATION (Moore, 1927) M. 44" Very tall on well-branched stems. A yellow self color. A deep rich golden yellow. Of the greatest substance, it does not fade or deteriorate in the hottest sun. Large flowers. It is strong and hardy and a very profuse bloomer. Everyone who has seen it is very enthusiastic over it. $4.00.
CORONATION. For those who do not feel like investing in the newer yellows offered in this list because of the higher cost, we sincerely recommend CORONATION. It is a uniform deep yellow; absolutely hardy, doesn't fade, and compares well with irises of recent introduction in other colors.
