'Designer Gown' (Joseph Ghio, R. 1984). Seedling 80-441. TB, 34" (86 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards pink orchid; falls light pink, deeper at hafts; tangerine beard. Seedling 78-133N: ('Magnifique' x seedling 7-234B: (seedling 73-17W: (Blocher seedling 223, 'Louise Watts' sibling x seedling 71-147P: ((('Commentary' x 'Claudia Rene') x 'Claudia Rene') x 'Ponderosa') x ('Ponderosa' x 'New Moon'))) x 'Joyce Terry')) X 'Beverly Sills'.
