Standards plicata heavily dotted greyed purple-burgundy (near RHS 186A), color nearly solid; style arms burgundy, creamy tan edges, serrated brown crest, midrib light purple; Falls white ground, ruffled plicata borders same as Standards, plicata markings fading to sparse burgundy-purple dots, dark purple line from end of beard, pleated; beards white tipped old gold; pronounced sweet fragrance.
