From Fay catalog, 1956: Fleeta (1956 (1956) ) $25.00 No. 53-70-51-29 X TSI-60A medium light pink self with pinkish red beard, from a Mary Randall seedling which was 1/8 Pallida. This breeding gives Fleeta thickness of petal, and a large completely hardy plant with blue-green foliage. The large flowers are nicely ruffled and are carried on a well-branched strong 37-inch stalk.The standards are swirled together so they do not pop open. The falls flare nicely. Has pollen; sets seed easily. H.C. 1954. |
