'Goddess' (Keith Keppel, R. 1981). Seedling# 76-120K. TB, 35" (89 cm), Early bloom. Standards pinkish cream (M&P 9-B-2 to 9-D-2); falls paler (9-B-1 to 9-D-1) in center, deeper hafts flushed golden buff; pale cream beard, cadmium orange in throat. Seedling# 72-30C: (seedling# 68-39D x 'Apricot Blaze') X seedling# 74-37C: (seedling# 70-53E: (seedling# 68-39D: (seedling# 66-35C: (('Irma Melrose' x 'Tea Apron') x (('Full Circle' x 'Rococo') x 'Tea Apron')) x ' April Melody') x (seedling# 66-35B x 'April Melody')) x 'Osage Buff'). Keppel 1981.

From Keith Keppel Iris catalog, 1981: GODDESS (Keppel '81) E 35" ((((Irma Melrose x Tea Apron) x ((Full Circle x Rococo x Tea Apron)) x Apricot Blaze) X ((F2:((Irma Melrose x Tea Apron) x ((Full Circle x Rococo) x Tea Apron))) x Osage Buff)). Swirled and ruffled standards top ruffled and lightly arched falls with pleated hafts. Flawless complexion of pale peaches and cream, with ivory falls blushed deeper peach on the hafts. Ivory cream beards, tangerine peach in throat. Two or three branches, plus terminal. The first recessive from plic breeding we have introduced. #76-120K 25.00.
