1934, Wareham
'Gold Fish' ( John Wareham, R. 1925). TB, Midseason bloom. Color code S9L. Wareham 1934.
The first pink bud, tangerine beard, tetraploid iris. Not found in pedigrees of subsquent pinks. Probably a 'Dominion' child as Wareham, along with Mrs. Taft were the first to import 'Dominion'. Wareham used 'Dominion' heavily in his breeding program.
