From AIS Bulletin #256 January 1985 Introducing JO VALLERY. TB, 36", ML. Intensely ruffled and frilled stands give the impression of multiple petals. Wide, flaring falls lighten toward showy pink beards, deeper near edge. Strong stalks carry 10 or more well placed buds. Named to honor Herbert Spence's mother, who was active in irises throughout her life. Beauty Is X Sunday Chimes. #H79-10B. HC '84 $30.00. Mission Bell.
