'Juicy Fruit' (Monty Byers, R. 1988). Seedling# D30-113. TB, height 34" (86 cm). Very early to mideason bloom and rebloom. Standards vary from bright to light pink with suffused yellow rim or pale apricot suffused yellow; falls vary from pure pale apricot to pale apricot with deeper hafts and suffused yellow edge or light yellow with hint of apricot in center; beard varies from orange to red orange. 'Howdy Do' X 'Coral Charmer'. Moonshine Gardens 1989.

| From Moonshine Gardens catalog, 1989: JUICY FRUIT. 34" VE-M. D30-ll3: HOWDY DO X CORAL CHARMER. Its coloring varies a lot.The S. from light to bright pink with suffused lemon rims or all pale apricot suffused lemon; the falls from pure pale apricot to pale apricot with deeper hafts and suffused lemon edges to pure light lemon with just a hint of apricot in the centers; beards vary between orange and orange-red. Another SKY HOOKS grandchild that can never decide what color it wants to be! Always remains in these fruity tones though and always remains pretty. Smaller tailored flowers with narrowish but super clean hafts. Astoundingly vigorous and floriferous here, year after year and it's a reblooming fool! Puts up stalks on and off all summer and fall here and in mild enough climates, I'll bet it blooms year round. The most perfectly branched stalks imaginable - always! Very fertile both ways and I've got loads of IBs coming from it. $25.00 |
